These vehicles are self-driven and do not require any human driver for its movement. With the growth in these automated vehicles the demand for professionals like car drivers, sailors and pilot would rapidly dropdown.
- Teaching:ย A virtual assistant is a software agent can perform the task for task-based human verbal commands. Now a days virtual assistants are being designed in such a way that they can teach students like human teacher. Thus students can study online with the help of virtual assistant at an affordable price and soon the need for teachers and professors would drop down.
Financial services:ย AI-powered systems can perform tasks such as fraud detection and risk assessment with greater accuracy and efficiency than humans, potentially reducing the need for human workers in these areas.
ย In the long run, we would witness certain jobs that are less relevant and finally obsolete. Though artificial intelligence has numerous benefits if implemented in day to day life by making work easier and faster. But it is also becoming a cause for unemployment. So the biggest challenge would be to implement it in such a way that it doesnโt enhance unemployment.
Engineering in Danger Or not?
If I were to pick out five areas where I think AI will have the most significant impact on the future of work, I’d say it would be:ย manufacturing, customer service, retail, finance and healthcare. “Manufacturing is one of the industries already seeing the biggest impact from AI.
AI very likely will lead to lower employment in some occupations. A few categories of workers may be completely replaced by AI software. But there will be many more occupations where AI automates some parts of the job, allowing human workers to focus on other tasks and become more productive overall.
