time sink ,  time-waster is an activity that consumes a significant amount of time, especially one which is seen as a wasteful way of spending it. Although it is unknown when the term was coined, it makes an analogy with heat sink. In the era of internet ,social media like instagram, facebook, reddit, also youtube so the reality is that they all are distraction ,these companies like meta and other social media app need our attention period for earning money so they make algorithm for users to make addictive and the movement when you addict users use their phones 3-10 hours per day and it is a serious issue.

How to stop wasting the precious time

#1. Make a plan with an approximate idea of how long a task may take and your priorities. Figure out the most productive schedule and consider how you prefer to work. For instance, are you most effective during the first hour of your day?
